Like another HO game I have to stick my face to the screen to be able to see clearly. It's very tiring. I got irritated many times playing it. I wouldn't really recommend it.. AVOID AT ALL COST, WHY IS THIS STILL ON STEAM?cant even pause it. A few years ago the developer potentially had me writing good reviews about this.... file (I wont call it a game), apparently his programming buddy has gone awol, and this game has been left in the disasterous state it was released in. I would call it a cashgrab, following the success of audiosurf, and while I really wanted to like it, it is complete trash.2/10, pros: small file, quickly removable, at one point it had promise.cons: all the rest.. A worthy sequel to the first volume. Do keep tabs on your island, though. If you forget for too long... well, that pile of bones mocketh thee.... Pros:-Enjoyable soundtrack (although a little repetitive)-Great and fun gameplay, Trials' spiritual spin-off with Monster Trucks-Good visuals for an early Unity game-Tight controls-Challenging levels-Unlockable trucksCons:-Extremely overpriced. Game should be 5 bucks-Short game, finished every level in about one hour.-Ocasionally, the physics will glitch (especially on the last level on my end)-A few graphical glitchesOther info:Low-specs computer friendly: YesGame is family friendly: YesOverall game recommendation: Recommended (if you can get it for a better price than 20 bucks). I have pretty mixed feelings about this series. On the one hand, I greatly enjoyed Episode One and Two. The comic book style is quite endearing, and plot is pretty interesting. Humor is on point, as can be expected from Penny Arcade as a whole.However, the fact that the developer and overall style of Episode Three and Four changed makes me want to caution new players from diving into this world. I could not bring myself to finish Three, as the enjoyment died off entirely. The latter half of the series looks like it was made in RPG maker, which by itself isn't a drawback, but is pretty stock combat/features with no flair. The storytelling/humor seems to have left the series entirely but that point.One and Two are definitely still worth playing, even if you don't plan to play the rest, but it seems pretty hit or miss as to whether people enjoy the latter two. You've been warned.. Incredible game. You should pay up to $100 for this game.. I've had The Maw forever and ever and I've started and stopped it a few times. I finally decided to finish it up, and I'm glad I did. It's not a perfect game, but it is difficult not to like it in spite of its flaws because it is just so relaxed and pleasant to play. You can't really screw anything up, so you are free to just run around feeding stuff to your blob buddy, smashing stuff, and simply having a good time. Considering it regularly goes on sale for like a buck, I'd say it's worth your time.
